Meet Peggy Margaux Kalvelage
Perpetual Dreamer
After nearly 40 years in the medical field, I stepped into a completely new chapter of my life — one rooted in creativity, intuition, and expression. I began metalsmithing in 2021, and from the moment I first held a torch to metal, I knew I had found something deeply meaningful. Making jewelry became not just a passion, but a powerful way to reconnect with the creative side I had quietly nurtured for years.
I live in Atlanta, Georgia, where I surround myself with beauty — in nature, in my garden, in art. I’ve dabbled in painting and have always had a love for collecting one-of-a-kind jewelry and gemstones. That lifelong fascination with form, color, and uniqueness naturally evolved into making pieces of my own.
I work primarily in silver and gold, using both traditional fabrication techniques and lost-wax casting — a process I love for its fluidity and mystery. Watching molten metal transform into something wearable is pure alchemy. My designs often carry an organic, sculptural feel, inspired by the imperfect elegance of nature. I create what I call Power Cuffs — bold, wide bracelets that are comfortable yet commanding — and I also design smaller cuffs, bolos, and pieces that reflect a Western spirit.
Each piece I make is one of a kind, and I hope the people who wear them feel both beautiful and empowered. Jewelry, for me, is more than adornment — it’s a way to embody strength, authenticity, and joy.
